Just back from a stay at Lochside house and apartment. Our party thought the house was amazing. We enjoyed the apartment as well. Loved the kitchens in both properties - the most perfect location next to the loch - we walked from the house every day and explored the area. We enjoyed the Pier Cafe next door as well. 100% recommend and i'd love to come back.

Absolutely amazing place, in the most beautiful location ! The house was so beautiful, and amazingly decorated with so many beautiful hidden areas to cosy up in and read/have a chat with friends. The rooms were really clean, and spacious with all of them having beautiful views from the windows. The house came stocked with a kitchen full of tools, which was perfect for a cook-off that my friends and I did, and they even gave us general cooking essentials such as spices/oil which was really considerate. We loved the place, and spent every evening by the fireplace, with the wood was included with the house, which was such a lovely touch. It was truly a magical experience, and we had the best time. We didn't want to leave! Angela was so proactive, sent us all the perfect information and tips that we needed to have the best stay including shop locations, and also her replies were super fast and fantastic. Thank you again for the most fantastic stay and the best memories created.

This property and location are just so idyllic and peaceful. We stayed here for my sisters 50th Birthday treat. The house is truly glorious and the owners have clearly worked so hard to breathe new life into it. The views from the house were stunning and you can walk from the house round loch Katrine. There is everything you could possibly need in the huge fantastic kitchen and every single bathroom had hand soap, little touches like this are always so welcome!! The Lovely neighbor Gail shared some local places to visit too. Angela was very responsive through the whole process and during our stay. Beds were all comfortable and everything clean and pristine. Would not hesitate to book again.

Beautiful House in a stunning location. House was perfect place to spend Christmas. We had a few problems with some of the appliances, but Angela did everything she could to help. Well worth the 10 hour drive.

Beautiful home, felt very warm and comfortable. All facilities were amazing, everything you could want or need in your home. The views are just beautiful of the loch all around you. Pier cafe is as 3 min walk and just perfect for breakfast or afternoon coffee and cake. Angela helped with all our needs and always responded quickly with any questions. Thank you for a great stay.

The location is as it appears on pictures, Angela was always very responsive a to our inquiries and we had a great time. I would definitively recommend the place and probably come back.

Lovely house to meet up with old friends. Peaceful and spacious.

The most amazing location! The house itself is welcoming, the kitchen beautifully stocked with everything you could need! The living room is breathtaking. Bedrooms functional with cozy duvets and excellent showers! We arrived 2 days late due to local flooding and Angela kindly offered us an additional night before the next guests arrrived, which we accepted. Wish we were still there! Pier cafe excellent with superb food and friendly service. The ferry is a must as is the Ben A'AN climb and morning dips in the loch. My boxer had a great time with all the local walks. Thank you for making him welcome! We are planning next year's holiday.

An idyllic stay. Angela was responsive & hospitable from the outset, fired with questions regarding four-legged friends, toddlers & more. This Airbnb is in a peaceful, remote location with outstanding surroundings - perfect for the outdoorsy type. The only drive we took was a short one to Loch Lomond. We would strongly recommend taking midge spray, after bite & tick remover - it is Scotland after all! The house itself was like stepping into a family home, spacious & homely with modest decor, a well-equipped kitchen, various games & DVDs. With a few pianists in the group, we also appreciated the piano! As described, there is no dedicated outdoor area for BBQing etc. as this belongs to the place next door. This is remedied by the easy access to Loch Katrine for swimming, kayaking etc. An amazingly serene experience. The Pier Cafe was so convenient, just a couple of minute’s walk away, with great food, the best tablet ice cream & friendly staff. Thoroughly worth the 6+ hour drive!

We loved the location! The Lochside House was clean, nice and a comfortable stay for our group of 6. The kitchen was spacious and the living room was convenient to gather and chat. We brought a kid who did great. Note for Americans: the house is at the end of a long single track road. While we managed, and the house and loch were well worth it, the road can be daunting for a new-to-the-UK driver.

Had a fantastic family stay, lovely location.

Lochside House & Apartment was the perfect place for my friends and I to have our ladies weekend retreat. The house and surroundings had everything we needed to make special memories. The location is absolutely stunning. We will definitely book to go back.

The value of this place is the location surrounded by the natures, just in front of Loch Katrine which well impresses and attracts tourists. In the meantime, the visitors need to understand that the access to the location is not easy, especially for the foreign drivers who doesn’t get used to driving such narrow and rough-surface roads on the countryside overseas. In term of the size and capacity, the guesthouse is good for those large groups or big families up to 10 people.
