We had such a lovely few days here in gorgeous surroundings. Lochside house was spacious and had everything we needed, with an especially well stocked kitchen. Angela gave clear and thorough information before arrival, and we had privacy throughout our stay. We enjoyed some lovely swims in the freezing loch, enjoyed some beers in the sun at Pier café, and loved our boat trip on Loch Katrine.

I think the highlight of the property is its location. I’ve yet to go to such a beautiful serene place! It’s so peaceful and so beautiful. Words and pictures can’t do it justice.

Wát een prachtige locatie. De foto's zijn al mooi maar in werkelijkheid is het nog mooier. Echt een pareltje!
Het huis is al wat ouder maar zeer mooi qua uitstraling en goed onderhouden. De keuken is zeer ruim en heeft 2 koelkasten en goede oven waar 6 pizza's tegelijkertijd in passen.
Op de banken in de woonkamer na, zijn de meubels in prima staat.
Bereikbaarheid: Er is 1 route naar de woning en die is lang, smal, onoverzichtelijk en niet in goede staat. Als je veel reist vanaf de woning, dan heb je niets aan de centrale ligging van de woning. Houdt rekening met veel extra reistijd vanwege omrijden.
Wij hebben een onwijs mooie tijd gehad op deze prachtige locatie. in combinatie met het mooie weer, konden we het niet beter treffen qua woning, locatie en host.

Really super stay, fantastic host and amazing location if you like swimming, paddle boarding, cycling and walking. Cosy nights in playing board games, watching movies and chatting in front of the fire in the immense and beautiful lounge.
Our fifteen year old son gave our 5 night holiday 10/10 and our 18 year old said it was 'good' (which is equivalent to 10/10) and I agree 😁 - thanks so much for your quick and helpful responses Angela!

Amazing location and a very well maintained property. We had a great time during our stay. Rooms are very clean. kitchen is very well stocked. lots of books, DVDs, board games etc to keep families engaged. . Most importantly , host is very responsive and has been available at odd hours as we checked in quite late and had issues with our GPS . highly recommend !

A beautiful house. Thank you for letting us stay. It was a great house for an extended family of 10 people of all ages.
A wonderful location. Every day waking up to a different view. The photos do not do the place justice.
Angela has clearly put a lot of effort into the place. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of utensils, cutlery, plates etc.
Despite having neighbours the place was so quiet and peaceful. The house is very well insulated. We never heard the neighbours.
Angela informed us about the food shop - which was very handy.
Weather was hit and miss but we managed to do lots of things whilst we were there. Definitely need a car and be happy driving to different locations but the views whilst driving around are beautiful!!

Wow! Beautiful area. A short stroll to breakfast and coffee in the morning. Angela’s house has an amazing kitchen. It feels like you’re living in a piece of history, but with all the modern touches! We all loved it.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, remote part of Scotland. The house became the perfect meeting point for a group of friends who hadn’t been together in years — and it gave us the space to make new memories in a truly special setting.
The location is stunning and peaceful, ideal for reconnecting and unwinding. The house itself is spacious, with plenty of room for everyone, and a great layout for group dinners and chats by the fire.
That said, some of the furnishings are a little dated, and we found the pillows quite uncomfortable. A few extra lamps in the living room would also help create a cosier, more homely atmosphere in the evenings.
Overall, a lovely spot for a getaway — and one we’ll remember fondly.

Very lovely and calm space. Waking up to a view each morning was my highlight. We had some spices and free food left for us to use which was very helpful! Getting to the place was a bit hard as we had not driven on country roads so narrow like that before but other than that, I was an amazing time
